Core Live Video
Core Live Video (CLV) is software made for bands, live musicians and audiovisual enthusiasts who want to take their stage show to the next level by using video content as part of their production.
Many bands and performers use projections or screens showing video perfectly synced to their music to boost the impact of their performance, but it can be hard to know how to get started. While there are industry standard applications that are used to achieve this, they are often either feature-rich but very complicated, or expensive to licence.
CLV is free software with a limited feature set that aims to do one thing well: allow you to connect to an external screen or projector and to trigger your video files when your songsstart, using MIDI. It works best if your production is already making use of MIDI to control your show elsewhere and if your songs are synced to a click track.
